After Reading though dozens of Blogged experiences I started to see some holes in my plan. So I am changing my plan to adapt to the realities. Joining columbia on Fall of 2006 looks difficult. I satrted the GMAT preparation late. Completing the application by March is near impractical. Fall 2007 is my new target. I will take the GMAT as planned. Also I signed up for two Volunteering programs to amass some social points. Apart from this I will attend community college in 2006 to get some recent A grades. I am not sure, whether a 64% B.Tech in mechanical engineering is Columbia standards. A good GMAT score is given. Apart from that I will need an excellent application as well. One more Year at work is going to help me pay for the MBA from a firmer footing.
